Rüdiger and Roma close gap on Juve

Germany international Antonio Rüdiger and AS Roma remain Juve’s closest chasers in Serie A following a 2-0 win at FC Crotone on matchday 24. Roma have now registered six wins from their last seven games.

Goals from Radja Nainggolan and former Wolfsburg player Edin Dzeko saw the club from the capital reduce the gap between themselves and Juventus, as well as World Champion Sami Khedira, to four points. Dzeko, who took his tally for the season to 17 goals, also missed a penalty in the opening stages of the game. Juventus will have the opportunity to regain their seven point lead when they meet Cagliari Calcio on Sunday evening.
