The two remaining German sides in the UEFA Women's Champions League today discovered their fates for the round of 16, with both receiving winnable ties. Defending champions 1. FFC Frankfurt take on Lilleström SK Kvinner from Norway, whilst VfL Wolfsburg, who were champions in 2013 and 2014, will play against Chelsea FC. The ties were drawn earlier today in Nyon.
FC Bayern München were knocked out in the round of 32 against Dutch side FC Twente, who now take on Spanish giants FC Barcelona. Both Wolfsburg and Frankfurt will play their respective first legs away from home, with the first legs for all sides taking place on the 11th and 12th November and the return legs being played a week later, on the 18th and 19th. The final will take place on the 26th May 2016 in the Italian city of Reggio Emilia.
