On their quest to the defend the title, VfL Wolfsburg will take on second division side Arminia Bielefeld in the Women's DFB Cup round of 16. The draw was held before the Bundesliga encounter between Turbine Potsdam and SGS Essen in the presence of European Champion Conny Pohlers.
The round of 16 will take place on December the 3rd and 4th, with the quarterfinal to follow next year on March the 15th. The semi-finals are scheduled for April the 13th, while the final will be played on May the 27th in Cologne.
The second round tie between TSG Schott Mainz and SC Sand has not been played yet after the tragic death of Schott player, Larissa Gördel.
