Rotation on the cards for the U17s

Having beaten the Netherlands in their opening Four Nations Tournament clash, the DFB-Team U17s return to action today against Italy in Meuselwitz (16:00 CEST).

Head coach Christian Wück is just as interested in seeing how his team cope off the pitch as well as on it. “During a tournament like this, it’s important to see the team’s character. The lads need to stick together as a team regardless of whether they’re playing or not and so far that’s happening,” explained Wück.

Italy drew their opening fixture 1-1 with Israel and they’ll be facing an entirely different Germany side. “I’m going to make 11 changes for this match but remain positive that we can win,” added Wück.
