Reus out of Poland and Scotland games

Germany’s Marco Reus has suffered an injury and will miss both European Championship qualifiers against Poland in Frankfurt (Friday, 20:45 CEST) and against Scotland in Glasgow (Monday, 20:45 CEST).

The 26-year-old left the team’s camp in Frankfurt-am-Main on Wednesday evening. He was diagnosed by the national team’s medical department with a fractured big toe. The painful injury, which the man with 25 caps picked up in his Borussia Dortmund side’s Bundesliga win over Hertha BSC, means that he will be unable to play for Germany in these qualifiers. Further care will now be handled by Borussia Dortmund.
