Aside from being directly involved with the both the goals, the World Cup winner performed well in every aspect of the game in Leipzig and helped his team finally clinch qualification for the 2016 Euros in France.
The Arsenal player took 27.5% of the vote in the Coca-Cola Fan Club vote, with Manuel Neuer coming second with 21% of the total vote. Marco Reus claimed 12.3% and with that third place.
