Anja Mittag has temporarily left Women’s national team and their preparations in Switzerland for the summer’s World Cup. The attacker, who plays for FC Rosengard, left the DFB quarters on Tuesday afternoon because of a league match with her Swedish side against second in the league Kristianstads DFF. The 30 year old will return on Friday morning.
The women’s national team began their preparations Switzerland last Monday for the summer’s World Cup (6th June-5th July). On 27th May (17:00 CEST), Germany will face Switzerland in Baden in their last international before travelling to Canada.
