Carsten Kammlott’s wonder goal has been nominated for the Goal of the Year award 2015. Fans can vote for the Erfurt player’s goal up until midnight on the 26th January – either on the Sportschau website or over the telephone. The 25-year-old striker scored in a 3-1 win for Rot-Weiß Erfurt over Dynamo Dresden.
Germany international Dzsenifer Marozsan has also been nominated. The 23-year-old scored in the World Cup Round of 16 against Sweden in the 88th minute, capping an excellent team performance with an impressive finish from 14 metres out following a corner.
