Mario Gomez has completed his move from Fiorentina (Italy) to Turkish side Besiktas. The Süper Lig outfit announced the deal on Thursday morning via their official Twitter channels. He joins initially on loan but there is an option to buy him outright.
Gomez joins Andreas Beck at Besiktas. The duo also played together whilst at VfB Stuttgart and they lifted the Bundesliga title together in 2007. Gomez joined Fiorentina from Bayern München in 2013.
