There is still a lot of time before the EUROs and I am counting on Jerome to be fit. He is doing everything to make it happen," said Löw. Boateng’s left adductor injury sidelined the centre back in the game against Hamburg nearly a month ago.
Joachim Löw, along with other DFB representatives, travelled to Leverkusen on Sunday to watch Bayer Leverkusen take on Dortmund, and to watch the numerous Die Mannschaft players that were on show.
He will also be in attendance at Arsenal’s Champions League home match against Barcelona, while Thomas Schneider will watch Bayern take on Juventus. Löw expects the latter to be a tight affair. "Juve are always difficult to play because they are clever and play tactically. Bayern will need to be on top of their game in both legs to progress to the next round."
