Lewandowski heads Poland's EURO 2016 squad

Bayern München goal machine Robert Lewandowski heads the preliminary squad for Germany’s group-stage opponents Poland at the 2016 European Championship in France. Three further Bundesliga players have made manager Adam Nawalka’s 28-man squad: Dortmund’s Lukasz Piszczek, Hannover forward Artur Sobiech and Stuttgart keeper Przemyslaw Tyton. Also in the squad is Dortmund player Jakub Blaszczykowski, currently on loan at Fiorentina.

Nawalka has until 31st May to decide on five players to drop before submitting his final 23-man squad to UEFA. Poland will face World Champions Germany on the 16th June, after playing Northern Ireland on 12th June and prior to their final group game against Ukraine on 21st June.
