In the final match of round 15 in der 2nd Bundesliga, Energie Cottbus landed a 1-0 (0-0)-win at Bochum. Substitute Mustafa Kucukovic (77.) scored the lonely goal. Cottbus stays in ninth place with the important win, after being winless three games. Bochum is in eleventh place.

Eintracht Frankfurt are new leaders after they won a thriller against lowly Alemannia Aachen 4-3 (2-0) on Sunday. SpVgg Greuther Fürth kept pace with a 4-0 (1-0) against FSV Frankfurt.

The game between Union Berlin and League leading Fortuna Düsseldorf ended 0-0. Düsseldorf is now unbeaten for 22 league games, while both teams played draw against each other for the first time. In a very embattled match St. Pauli win 3-1 at Hansa Rostock. Mahir Saglik scored twice and secured the win for the visitors.

New coaches Jörn Andersen and Tomas Oral suffered losses as round 15 of German Second Bundesliga started on Friday. Paderborn beat Andersens Karlsruhe by the late goal of Nick Proschwitz 2-1. 1860 win at Oral's Ingolstadt 1-0. In the third match strong Duisburg celebrated a 3-0 win over Braunschweig.
