Lahm ready to play in "four weeks time"

Bundesliga club Bayern München currently miss German international Philipp Lahm. The defender suffered an incipient fracture in his right tarsal bone during the Champions League match against AC Florence (3-0) on Tuesday. The foot was put in plaster.

It is not yet known for how long Lahm will be missing. "I will have to wear the plaster for about ten days. But I am optimistic to be ready to play in four weeks time", Lahm told German news agency Sport-Informations-Dienst (sid). The plaster will be removed next week and Lahm will be examined by club physician Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.

Lahm will be definitely missing against VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday as well as Eintracht Frankfurt (October, 29th).
