Kuntz speaks ahead of open training session

DFB coach Stefan Kuntz met with his U21 national team squad today in Kassel. The youngsters are ready themselves to meet Slovakia on Friday in the Auestadion (18:15 CEST), before the U21 European Championship qualifier against Finland the following Tuesday (18:00 CEST). “I am really looking forward to getting started with the boys,” said Kuntz. “We will use the upcoming games to get to know the team better and start laying the foundations for what we want to achieve.”

The fans will also play a part in proceedings. On Wednesday there will be an open training session in the Auestadion, giving supporters the chance to watch the team prepare and get a few autographs and photos.

”The supporters are always enthusiastic here in Kassel. It would be great to have another strong attendance in the stadium and in turn we hope to play good football for the fans,” continued Kuntz.
