Kroos and Real Madrid beat Manchester City

Germany international Toni Kroos helped Real Madrid to a 4-1 win over Manchester City to claim the International Champions Cup. Los Blancos fielded a strong team against the English side and dominated the game from start to finish.

After a goalless draw and a loss on penalties against AS Roma in their opening game of the tournament, Real found their form and secured their Champions Cup title. They will now face both Milan clubs in China next week as a continuation of the same competition. World-Cup-winner Toni Kroos put in a good performance, setting up Cristiano Ronaldo for Real’s second goal. Karim Benzema, Pepe and Denis Cheryshev got the other goals for the Spanish side, whilst Yaya Touré scored a consolation goal for City from the spot after a dubious penalty decision.
