Klose and Lazio end barren run

World Cup winner Miroslav Klose and his club side Lazio have ended their run of three games without a win or a goal in the Serie A with a 5-2 victory over bottom side Hellas Verona. Klose was brought on towards the end of the game and provided the assist for his team's fourth goal, scored by Balde Keita. The win takes Lazio up to seventh place, at least for the time being, with an eight-point gap separating them from the European places.

Alessandro Matri, Danilo Cataldi and Felipe Anderson gave the hosts a 3-0 lead before Hellas brought themselves back into the game with goals from Leandro Greco and veteran Luca Toni. Antonio Candreva wrapped up the win with an injury-time penalty.
