With precise free kicks and passes, the 22-year-old bagged himself four assists in Die Mannschaft’s 7-0 win over San Marino on Saturday. That was enough for the fans to vote Kimmich as “Man of the Match” for the second time in as many matches.
Kimmich won the vote following Saturday’s game with 43.8% of the votes, receiving more votes than some of the goals scorers from the weekend’s game. Sandro Wagner was second with 42.7% and Julian Draxler was third with 4%.
