Khedira's Juventus held to a draw

Sami Khedira and Juventus have hit a minor speed bump in their push for the Serie A title after drawing 2-2 with Atalanta on Matchday 34. They now sit nine points ahead of second-place AS Roma with 84 points to the team from the capital's 75, but having played a game more. Roma themselves have the challenge of a local derby this weekend when they come up against SS Lazio.

Atalanta took a surprise lead through Andrea Conti a few moments before the break. Juventus turned things around over the second half, equalising in the 50th minute thanks to a Leonardo Spinazzola own goal and going ahead in the 82nd minute following Dani Alves's strike. However, the celebrations were cut short in the last minute of normal time when Remo Freuler equalised for Atalanta, who themselves sit in sixth and remain on course to qualify for the Europa League.
