With Sami Khedira in their ranks Juventus looked unstoppable in their third Serie A game of the season. The Old Lady beat U.S Sassuolo Calcio 3-1 to lead the table with a 100% record. U.C Sampdoria and FC Genoa have the chance to join Juve at the top of the Serie A table on Sunday.

Germany national team star Khedira was once again pulling the strings in the Juventus midfield and turned provider for Gonzalo Higuain in the tenth minute to fire his side into a 2-0 lead. The Argentine also scored the first goal of the game. Miralem Pjanić added a third in the 27th minute before Luca Antei pulled one back for Sassuolo in the 33rd minute.

Khedira has shown some early signs of his attacking quality already this season, scoring in both of Juve’s first two Serie A wins.

The game turned out to be a good dress rehearsal for Juve’s Champions League campaign which begins on Wednesday against last year’s Europa League winners FC Sevilla. With one eye on Wednesday’s important game, Khedira was substituted in the 73rd minute.

Shkrodran Mustafi celebrated the perfect debut for Arsenal as their last minute winner against Southampton on matchday 4 of the Premier league secured three points for the gunners. The 2-1 victory was Arsenal’s second of the season with Mustafi making his debut at the heart of the defence. Fellow Germany international Mesut Özil also started for Arsenal.

Santi Cazorla converted the injury time penalty to give Arsenal the lead. Petr Cech was unlucky to concede the first goal of the game in the 18th minute as the ball rebounded off the gunners’ keeper into his own net. Laurent Koscielny then equalized spectacularly for Arsenal in the 29th minute.
