World Cup winner Sami Khedria has picked up another knock. The 28-year-old midfielder, who missed Juventus’ 1-0 win over AC Milan on Saturday evening, will also miss this week’s Champions League fixture against Manchester City according to Massimiliano Allegri.
“An old injury has resurfaced. He came back from international duty in good condition but he’s starting to feel pain again. I don’t want to take any risks with Sami, so I’ve told him that he won’t be involved in midweek. He should be back next weekend though,” announced Allegri.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has been struggling with a calf strain of late. Since leaving Spain to join Juve, he has been plagued by a number of injuries.
