Karlsruhe still unbeaten - fourth defeat for Nürnberg

Karlsruher SC won 3-0 against 1. FC Nürnberg on Sunday to climb to third place on Round six of 2nd Bundesliga. Fortuna Düsseldorf celebrated the first victory at home beating Heidenheim 3-2. Former league leader RB Leipzig had to accept their first defeat of the season, losing 1-2 at Union Berlin.

On Saturday VfL Bochum stormed to the top of the table. The team of coach Peter Neururer won 5-1 at FSV Frankfurt. FC Ingolstadt, table-leader before the matchday, tied 1-1 with 1860 Munich in the bavarian derby and slipped down to place two. Greuther Fürth turned the game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern, when Marco Stiepermann and Tom Weilandt scored after the half time to win 2-1 against the "Roten Teufel".

On the sixth matchday in the 2nd Bundesliga leader Ingolstadt want to defeat 1860 Munich to stay on top. 2nd placed RB Leipzig needs a victory over Union Berlin to hold the connection to the first placed.

On Friday Darmstadt 98 missed the opportunity to become top of the league for one night by losing 0-2 against Eintracht Brunswick. Erzgebirge Aue celebrates a 3-0 win against St. Pauli, their first victory of the season.

RB Leipzig rank on second place in the table. The "Roten Bullen" needs to defeat Union Berlin to move forward on the way to the Bundesliga-advancement. The game in the german Capitolcity completes the whole matchday on Sunday.

The second Bundesliga continues on Tuesday and Wednesday.
