Germany international and Bayer 04 Leverkusen attacker Karim Bellarabi will be out of action for the coming weeks, after damaging the muscle in his right adductor in the first minute of Leverkusen's 3-1 victory over Hamburger SV on matchday 2 in the Bundesliga.
"It's clear that it's a muscle injury," was the first diagnosis by coach Roger Schmidt immediately after the game on Saturday. Bellarabi was replaced by Olympic silver medal winner Julian Brandt.
