Mandy Islacker has been forced to withdraw from the Germany women’s national team’s match against Canada in Erfurt on Sunday (15:00 CEST). The 1. FFC Frankfurt forward will sit this one out due to an ankle problem which she picked up during her last Allianz-Frauen Bundesliga match. National head coach Steffi Jones will also not be given the opportunity to call up anybody in her place.
The DFB squad are currently getting on with their day of marketing in Frankfurt. After doing some performance diagnostics on Wednesday, the team will then travel to Erfurt on Thursday afternoon following a training session.
