Hungary rescue point late on against Iceland

Hungary are in pole position to qualify for the next round of this summer’s European Championships. Bernd Storck’s side earned a point against Iceland in Marseille this afternoon, scoring late on to make it 1-1. They now have four points from two games and lead Group F going into this evening’s match between Portugal and Austria. Iceland are still very much in it with two points on the board.

Portugal and Austria will have to wait to book their place in the next stage of the European Championships after playing out a 0-0 draw in Paris tonight. Portugal find themselves in third position after their two draws, Austria fourth with just one point. Hungary lead what is a very tight group with four points after their 1-1 draw against Iceland earlier.
