VfB Stuttgart’s Timo Baumgartl will not be available for the U21 game against Denmark on Thursday (18:00 CEST) nor for the Euro qualifier on the following Monday (16:00 CEST) in Azerbaijan.
The 19-year-old suffers from recurring knee problems which he felt again after the last training session. Following talks between Horst Hrubesch and VfB sport director, the DFB-Team manager has agreed not to play the defender as a precaution.
