Hertha reach second place, Bochum win 5-2 against Sandhausen

Hertha BSC Berlin are back on second place of the Second Bundesliga. Jos Luhukay's side won 1-0 against St. Pauli on Monday night thanks to a goal by Ben Sahar after 85 minutes.

VfL Bochum celebrated the third victory of the season. On Round 14 of the Second Bundesliga the team of trainer Karsten Neitzel won 5-2 against SV Sandhausen. MSV Duisburg won the first time at home. The "zebras" prevailed 2-1 over Erzgebrige Aue. Jahn Regensburg and 1. FC Union Berlin played 3-3.

Leaders Eintracht Braunschweig extended their unbeaten streak to 14 after beating contenders FC Ingolstadt 3-0. On Friday with 1. FC Kaiserslautern going up to a promotion spot after a 1-0 (1-0) in the top clash against Energie Cottbus. Meanwhile Dynamo Dresden (2-1 vs. FSV Frankfurt) and 1. FC Köln (2-0 at TSV 1860 München) end their negative streaks in style.

On Sunday (1.30 pm), teams from the second half of the table play against each other: MSV Duisburg welcomes Erzgebirge Aue, VfL Bochum faces the last SV Sandhausen and Jahn Regensburg plays against Union Berlin.
