Germany international Josephine Henning (26) has signed a contract at leading English club, Arsenal FC. The London club confirmed the signing of the defender on Thursday. Henning terminated her contract at Paris St. Germain after one and a half years, and completed a trial at Arsenal at the beginning of the month.
Arsenal did not reveal how long they had been in contact with the European champion. "Josie has had a fantastic career so far, and knows what it takes to play at the highest level both at club and international level. She has everything needed to succeed at a top club," said team coach Pedro Martinez Losa.
