Germany's women to meet USA, England and France in four nations tournament

With the Olympics to look forward to in the summer for the DFB women's national team, Sylvia Neid's side will take part in a four nations tournament in the USA at the beginning of March. Germany's women will take on the hosts as well as England and France in the 'SheBelieves Cup'.

The Germany side will begin the tournament on 3rd March at 23:00 CET (17:00 local time) against France at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Three days later, they will travel to Nashville to play England at the Nissan Stadium at 23:45 CET (16:45 local time), before concluding their campaign on 9th March against the USA at the FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida. The match will kick off at 19:45 local time.

Doris Fitschen, sporting director for the women's national team, said: "As a result of the Olympic qualification games, the Algarve Cup doesn't have as many top countries competing this year as it usually does, so we're looking forward to the tournament in America, where we'll have the opportunity to test ourselves against the best sides. We'll use the time to work hard and try a few things out, as the games are played at the highest level and they're crucial for us to develop as a team. I'm also expecting a unique atmosphere when we take on the World Cup winners."
