Germany women's to face Sweden, Italy and Russia at Euro 2017

The Germany women’s national team will face Sweden, Italy and Russia in Group B at the 2017 European Championship in the Netherlands (16th July-6th August). Ex-Germany international Nadine Keßler was involved in the draw at the Luxos Theater in Rotterdam on Tuesday afternoon. The reigning champions open their campaign against Sweden in Breda on 17th July.

Steffi Jones‘ team then face Italy in Tilburg on 21st July, before the final group match against Russia in Utrecht on 25th July. The top two teams from each group progress to the quarter finals, which take place on 29th July in Doetinchem and Rotterdam, and on 30th in Tilburg and Deventer. The final takes place at the Stadion de Grolsch Vester in Entschede on 6th August.
