Germany in pot one for Euro 2016 draw

World champions Germany are among the top-seeded teams for the group-stage draw for the 2016 European Championship finals in France. UEFA announced on Wednesday that courtesy of their UEFA coefficient, Germany will be in pot one alongside England, Portugal and Belgium. Spain are automatically entered into pot one as defending champions, with France also among the top seeds by virtue of being the host nation.

Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Austria and Croatia are in pot two, with the sixth place going to either Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine or the Czech Republic, dependent on the results of the play-off round. The confirmed teams in pot four are Wales, Albania and Northern Ireland. Below is the full list of confirmed seedings (UEFA coefficient in brackets):
