In the second game of the Algarve Cup 2009 Germany beat China 3-0 (1-0). Kerstin Garefrekes (2) and Kim Kulig scored for the women's national team. When Germany meet Sweden on monday there will be the decision which team will proceed to the final of the Algarve Cup 2009.
"Although we had a lot of young players, we made a good game", said Garefrekes. German Coach Silvia Neid gave a special accolade to goal scorer Kulig: "She is very energetic and she will learn a lot".
In the Algarve Cup Germany will face Sweden on monday (2.15 pm) in Faro. The last game of the tournament will take place on Wednesday, 11th of march.
