German Women's team beat Ukraine 3-1

The German Women's National Team has won its second qualifier for the European Championships 2005 in Portugal. In the Army Stadium in Kiev Germany beat the ukrainian team 3-1 (1-1). Olena Mazurenko had put the locals in front by scoring with a penalty after four minutes. But Kerstin Garefrekes (40.), Sandra Minnert (76.) and Martina Müller (87.) secured three points for Germany.

Germany now leads qualifying group 4 with six points, having the better goal difference (8-1) compared to Scotland (six points, 13-8 goals).
