German Women win sixth straight WC-Qualifier against Switzerland

The German Women's National Team have kept a clean sheet in their World Cup qualifying campaign by winning 6-0 (1-0) against Switzerland at Schaffhausen to take their sixth straight win.

Conny Pohlers made the first goal just after one minute in her 50th cap for the German Football Associaton (DFB). In the second half the ruling World and European champion added five more goals by Birgit Prinz (57.), Petra Wimbersky (72.), Renate Lingor (78.), Martina Müller (89.) and Kerstin Garefrekes (90.+4).
