The German U 21 national team struggled a late equalizier in a qualifying match for the EC 2011. After a 1-1 (0-0) at Belfast against hosting Nothern Ireland the defending champions must fear for their participation at the tournament which is held in Denmark.
Germany seemed set to record a win after Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting struck in the 89th minute. But in additional time Manchester United midfielder Oliver Norwood scored to a point.
Germany now trail Iceland (5 games/12 points) and the Czech Republic (4/12) in the standings, with a total of 4 points after three games. The DFB-team travels to San Marino on Tuesday (8.30 P.M.).
