Frankfurt, Leipzig and Hannover to host Germany in 2015

Meeting in Frankfurt am Main, the German FA (DFB) Executive Committee has determined the venues for three internationals to be contested at home by the Germany national team in 2015.

The EURO 2016 qualifier between Germany and Poland will be played in Frankfurt on 4 September. Germany will host Georgia in Leipzig on 11 October 2015 in their final qualifying fixture prior to the 2016 European Championship in France. The national team programme for 2015 concludes on 17 November with a friendly against the Netherlands in Hannover.

A friendly meeting with the reigning world and European champions was also confirmed: Germany will play Spain on 18 November 2014 in Vigo.

Details have yet to be finalised for potential matches in the international breaks in March and June 2015. Internationals at home could be scheduled to complement the prearranged away fixtures in the EURO 2016 qualifying programme. Germany’s first match after the World Cup in Brazil is on 3 September 2014 when Argentina visit Düsseldorf. The EURO 2016 qualifying campaign begins on 7 September 2014 against Scotland in Dortmund.
