Four Germany U21 players return to their clubs

After their 1-0 win against Turkey, Germany U21s will travel to Poland for their international friendly without four players. Taking the work load of certain players in recent weeks into account, Timo Werner, Davie Selke (both RB Leipzig), Matthias Ginter (Borussia Dortmund) and Mahmoud Dahoud (Borussia Mönchengladbach) will not be part of the U21 squad in Poland and will instead return to their club sides.

This decision was agreed in advance of the international break between the respective clubs and Germany U21s head coach Stefan Kuntz. No replacements have been called up to the now 19 man squad for the Poland game.
