Final training in Évian ahead of semi-final

Germany’s final training session ahead of the EURO 2016 semi-final against hosts France in Marseille on Thursday (21:00 CEST) will take place in Évian. Just like ahead of the quarterfinal against Italy, DFB put in a request to UEFA, which was granted.

The final training session will start at 11:00 CEST on Wednesday. Die Mannschaft will then travel to Marseille on Wednesday afternoon and therefore finally leave their headquarters in Évian. The team has been staying in the Hotel Ermitage in Évian for 30 days. "We therefore want to thank the region, the town of Évian, the security services and the hotel staff," said general manager Oliver Bierhoff. "We have felt very comfortable here and it is unbelievably beautiful. The climatic conditions were outstanding."
