Fifth match, fifth shutout for Germany's women

Despite heavy snowfall the German Women's National team celebrated another flawless performance in their fifth World Cup qualifier. After beating Croatia in Osijek 8-0 (3-0), qualification for the final tournament 2015 in Canada seems nearly perfect after the fifth victory with a goal tally of 40-0.

Dzsenifer Marozsan scored four times for a dominant German team (12., 21., 66., 81.), Celia Sasic (13.), Anja Mittag (53.), Alexandra Popp (71.) and Saskia Bartusiak (90.) added the other goals. Early in the match Fatmire Bajramaj missed another one from the penalty spot (8.).

"Three points, eight wonderful goals - this was a splendid end of the year", National Coach Silvia Neid said.
