FIFA rankings: No change for world champions Germany

Germany have not moved in the latest edition of the FIFA world rankings, occupying fifth position in May. Argentina, Belgium, Chile and Colombia make up the top four. Germany’s 1,309 points mean they are still 223 points behind leaders Argentina. Colombia are only 28 points ahead of Joachim Löw’s side in fourth position.

The World Cup winners dropped back to fifth place after their 3-2 defeat to England and 4-1 victory over Italy. The last time they were lower was in May 2010 during the lead up to the World Cup in South Africa (6th).
