FC Bayern sign Rolser from Liverpool

FC Bayern München have signed former Germany junior Nicole Rolser on a two-year deal from Liverpool. The 23-year-old becomes Bayern’s fourth signing this summer as the team prepares for the new season.

Bayern are not the only team to have brought in new talent for the new season. 1. FC Turbine Potsdam have signed Australia international Elise Kellond-Knight to play for the six-time champions. The 24-year-old, who has signed a two-year contract, was at the World Cup in Canada with Australia and surprisingly reached the quarter finals.

“It’s a great signing,” said Potsdam’s coach Bernd Schröder. “She absolutely has the footballing skills and attitude to be a leading player.”

Kellond-Knight is seen as Australia’s pin-up girl for women’s football, and she was chosen as part of the All-Star Team at the 2011 World Cup in Germany.
