The draw for this season’s Europa League round of 32 was made today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon. Borussia Mönchengladbach will face Fiorentina, while Schalke 04 will come up against PAOK.
Borussia, who dropped down into the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group behind Barcelona and Manchester City, will play the first leg of their round of 32 tie at home on the 16th of February 2017. Meanwhile, the Royal Blues will play their first leg away a week later on the 23rd.
Rüdiger’s Roma to face Villarreal
DFB Team international Antonio Rüdiger will come up against Spanish side Villarreal, as his Roma side were drawn against them today, while Manchester United, for whom former Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger currently plays, will clash with French outfit Saint-Etienne.
The final will be played on the 24th of May at the Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden.
