EURO 2016: Tickets from €25

€25 for a group game, almost €1,000 for the best seats for the final: The EURO 2016 organising committee confirmed the ticket prices for the tournament, which takes place in France next year. Tickets for the group stage fixtures, with the exception of the opening game, start at €25. “That’s a fantastic price for such a prestigious tournament,” explained Jacques Lambert, head of the organising committee.

The initial application phase which runs from 10th June, exactly one year ahead of the opening game, to 10th July, one year ahead of the final. A million tickets will be available in the initial phase and a further 800,000 seats will become available after the draw takes place later this year. "We wanted a ticketing procedure that was user-friendly and transparent, in which everyone – no matter where they were in the world – had the same chances of obtaining tickets via a single portal," added Lambert.

€25 tickets are available for 43 of the 51 games. Prices for the quarter finals start at €45; €65 for the semis. The cheapest ticket for the final is €85; the most expensive is €895.
