EURO 2015 edging closer: U21s begin journey to Prague

From 2nd to 10th June, the Germany U21 national team were in the Austrian town of Leogang working under optimal conditions at a training camp. Horst Heldt’s side were putting the finishing touches to their preparations for the European U21 Championship in the Czech Republic (17th to 30th June).

“The goal for the European Championships is clear. Head coach Horst Hrubesch says: “My big dream is the Olympics, the big goal is the European Championships title. But we’ll approach it step-by-step, any other approach makes no sense.”

The U21 side fly to Prague at 16:15 CEST this afternoon from Frankfurt. It will be in the same city, the Czech capital, where DFB will play all three of their group games in group A. Their first is against Serbia this coming Wednesday (17th July, 20:45 CEST), then Denmark on 20th June (20:45 CEST), and their final group game against hosts Czech Republic on 23rd June (20:45 CEST).
