The top clash between top sides Fortuna Düsseldorf and Eintracht Frankfurt ended 1-1 on Monday. Benjamin Köhler scored the first goal of the game (69.), before Jens Langeneke cleared in the last minute of the game. Düsseldorf is still top of the table, Frankfurt place third after Round 21 of 2. Bundesliga.
On Sunday Gerald Asamoah of Greuther Fürth led his team to the top of the table until Monday. Fürth won 5-1 against SC Paderborn and is second of the table after the draw between Fortuna and Eintracht.
At the same time FC St. Pauli collected important points in the fight for the rise in the first league. Pauli beat VfL Bochum 2-1. Hansa Rostock is still bottom of the league. In spite of the 4-2-victory against MSV Duisburg Rostock is with 15 points endmost.
Union Berlin showed its strength at home on saturday, winning 4-0 (1-0) against Dynamo Dresden on round 21 of the Second Bundesliga. Christopher Quiring, John Mosquera and Simon Terodde added two against the old rival. In the second match, Braunschweig and Karlsruhe finished up in a scoreless tie.
FSV Frankfurt can't win at home. On Round 21 of the Second Bundesliga the team of coach Benno Möhlmann only managed a 1-1 (1-0) against lowly FC Ingolstadt and are winless in their own stadium for 13 games now. The second Friday match between Energie Cottbus and Alemannia Aachen ended in a 1-1 (0-0) draw as well.
