Draxler and Trapp feature in PSG win

Germany international Julian Draxler and Paris St. Germain recorded an impressive 3-0 away victory against seventh placed Girondins Bordeaux on matchday 25 of French Ligue 1. Argentine international Edinson Cavani bagged a brace and his fellow countryman Angel di Maria grabbed the third.

After two intense weeks with four games in ten days, PSG coach Unai Emery opted to give Draxler a break and only brought him on just after the hour mark to replace di Maria. Kevin Trapp came back into the starting eleven and played the full 90 minutes after returning from a thigh injury.

PSG have won six of their last seven league games and put pressure on current table toppers AS Monaco, as both teams are now level on points in Ligue 1. Monaco play on Saturday evening against Metz.
