The draw for the last 16 of the DFB cup will be made tonight after the second round match between Hamburger SV and FC Bayern Munich. Germany under-21 manager Horst Hrubesch will join TV presenter Judith Rakers for the draw, which will be made at 23:45 CEST.
Already in the pot for the last 16 are Borussia Dortmund, Werder Bremen, 1. FC Köln, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, Kickers Offenbach, Arminia Bielefeld, Dynamo Dresden and VfR Aalen after they all won their respective second round matches on Tuesday night. Eight more teams will be attempting to join them in the next round as they play tonight.
13 Bundesliga and 12 2. Bundesliga teams made it into the second round, along with four teams from the third division (Dynamo Dresden, Chemnitz, MSV Duisburg and Bielefeld) and three teams from the Regionalligen (Offenbach, Kickers Würzburg and 1. FC Magdeburg).
The last 16 ties will be played over the 3rd and 4th March 2015.
