Die Mannschaft to meet up in Frankfurt

Germany need just one point to finally book their ticket to the France 2016 European Championships, but they still have two games to secure their place, which certainly shouldn’t be too hard a task. The World Cup winners will play in Dublin against Ireland on Thursday (20:45 CEST) and then against Georgia on 11th October (20:45 CEST) in Leipzig. Today, the team meet up in Frankfurt am Main to prepare for the fixtures.

Joachim Löw’s men will stay in Frankfurt until Wednesday, when they will travel to Dublin, leaving at around 11 o’ clock. A final training session will be held there on Wednesday night before the match on Thursday in the Aviva Stadium.

The day after the match, the team will return to Germany, flying to Leipzig. There will be training held in the RB Leipzig stadium ahead of the final qualification game against Georgia. If all goes to plan, these will just be stops along the way to France 2016.
