DFB marketing division set for expansion

DFB-Wirtschaftsdienste GmbH, the German FA’s marketing and commercial services arm, has announced an expansion of its services portfolio and international activities, based on revised product and personnel structures. Complementing the extensive licensing business, the focus in the future will be domestic and overseas marketing of content, services and products produced by the DFB and its subsidiaries, and the development of new business opportunities.

Commensurate with this expansion, DFB-Wirtschaftsdienste GmbH has announced a revised management structure. Alongside DFB Marketing Director Denni Strich, Ulrich Wolter, previously General Coordinator of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011, becomes full-time Managing Director, effective 1 September 2011.
