DFB finalise men’s DFB Cup second round schedule

The German Football Association (DFB) has finalised the kick-off times for the second round of the men’s DFB Cup. Hamburger SV and Bayern Munich, who met at the quarter-final stage last season when the Bavarians won 5-0 away, face each other on Wednesday 29 October at 20:30, with the match to be broadcast live on ARD.

The other all-Bundesliga encounter between Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach kicks off simultaneously. Last year’s finalists Borussia Dortmund are in action at FC St. Pauli’s Millerntor stadium on Tuesday 28 October at 20:30, with Werder Bremen facing a trip to the Stadion an der Gellertstraße to play a strong third-tier Chemnitz side at 19:00 on the same day.

Regional league clubs Kickers Würzburg, 1. FC Magdeburg and Offenbacher Kickers all have home ties against Eintracht Braunschweig, Bayer Leverkusen (both on 29 October at 19:00) and Karlsruher SC (on 28 October at 19:00) respectively.
