DFB Consulting & Sales Services at the World Stadium Congress 2012

From 3-6 June 2012, DFB Consulting experts attended the IQPC World Stadium Congress 2012 in Doha, which focussed on stadium and infrastructure projects to be planned and implemented prior to major sports events. Of particular interest were the specific regulations and requirements made for World Cup stadiums, as well as the stadium’s post-tournament use.

DFB Consulting expert Dietmar Eufinger-Damm had been chosen to act as anchorman for two workshops where he presented how stadiums can operate successfully in the long run. He gave in insight into how Germany addressed the issue of post-event use of the World Cup venues and how sporting venues can ensure return on investment.

“We are very happy about the exceptionally good feedback from workshop participants. They were very interested in how Germany organised the FIFA World Cup 2006 and what our experiences were. Especially our recommendations with regard to post-event usage were in high demand”, Eufinger-Damm added.
